
Sam Williams has over 10 years experience in investment banking focusing on biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, most recently at Lehman Brothers where he held the position of Industry Group Leader for European Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals.
Sam was ranked the number one European Biotechnology equity analyst by Institutional Investor magazine in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and by Thomson Extel in 2004 and 2005. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Sam was Senior Biotechnology Research Analyst at Robertson Stephens International Limited.
Sam has a PhD from the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge where he worked in the research group of Sir Gregory Winter FRS, scientific co-founder of Cambridge Antibody Technology (CAT) and Domantis.
Sam is a Director of several private UK biotechnology companies and is a Board member of the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA).
